Dean of the Faculty of Business

The University of New Brunswick is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Dean of the Faculty of Business. As a key member of the University's senior leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the Faculty's strategic plan, fostering a culture of excellence, and promoting innovation and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Faculty of Business in achieving its strategic objectives and advancing its academic programs.
  • Develop and implement a vision for the Faculty that aligns with the University's strategic plan and promotes excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Faculty's academic and administrative staff.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, alumni, and industry partners.
  • Foster a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and equity within the Faculty and promote opportunities for underrepresented groups.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in a relevant field and a strong academic record.
  • Proven leadership experience in higher education, preferably in a business faculty or school.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
