About the Role

KF Aerospace is seeking a skilled NDT Technician to join our team. As an NDT Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our aircraft and components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections on aircraft, engines, and components to detect defects and ensure quality.
  • Calibrate testing equipment and interpret results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with project supervisors, customers, and management to identify and interpret test results, work priorities, and project progress.
  • Participate in company safety initiatives and incident investigations.

Requirements

  • CGSB Level II Certifications in ET and/or UT are essential.
  • CGSB Level II Certifications in PT and MT are an asset.
  • CGSB Level I RT (EMC) or Level II RT (Aircraft Structures) is an asset.
  • NAS 410 Level 2 ET/UT/PT/MT/RT may be considered.
  • 5 years of experience performing NDT inspections.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and other authoritative publications for NDT inspections.
  • Flexibility to travel away from base.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
