Ready Mix DriverWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Ready Mix Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality concrete to various construction sites across the region.
Your Responsibilities- Transport ready-mix concrete to customer locations efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring it meets all safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections and minor repairs on the truck.
- Verify concrete mix quality and quantity according to customer specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients at job sites.
- Collaborate with dispatch to optimize routes and delivery schedules.
- Assemble and operate concrete chutes during the pouring process.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B).
- Strong reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
- Minimum one year of experience operating commercial vehicles with multi-speed transmissions.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid medical card.
- Concrete knowledge and experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude or skills are beneficial.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and occasional overtime.
- Physical ability to climb ladders and lift up to 60 pounds.
