About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Subway Sandwich and Salad. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and package take-out food to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers' orders, and ensure that all orders are accurate and fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of the quantities of food used, stock refrigerators and salad bars, and remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and provide support during peak periods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English.
  • Availability: 30 to 35 hours per week.
Working Conditions

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure, perform repetitive tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity during peak periods.
