Retail Store Manager

Circle K Convenience Store And Shell Gas Station is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all sales and customer service standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that all sales and customer service standards are met.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all employees are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that all products are stocked and available for sale.
- Support the social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees by facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
- Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or sales environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
