Job Title: Head Dispatcher

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Dispatcher to join our team at Canadian Flatbeds Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Head Dispatcher will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and coordinating activities with other work units or departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and organize work to accomplish objectives.
  • Oversee operational logistics, including transportation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks, with attention to detail and under pressure.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and ability to work as part of a team.
Work Environment:

The Head Dispatcher will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
