Head Dispatcher

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Dispatcher to join our team at Canadian Flatbeds Ltd.
Job Summary:The Head Dispatcher will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and resolving work problems. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and organize work to accomplish objectives
- Oversee operational logistics, including transportation and maintenance
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
- Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Train workers in duties and policies
- Conduct performance reviews and co-ordinate, assign, and review work
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to co-ordinate and prioritize tasks
The Head Dispatcher will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of 3-4 people. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication skills.
