Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Prepare and submit reports
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Stand for extended periods and walk frequently
  • Personal Suitability
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
    • Team player with a positive attitude
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
Work Conditions

This is a permanent position with a work language of English and a work schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week.
