Food Service Team Lead

Meltwich Food Co is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our food service operations.
- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation procedures, and quality control standards.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on operations, highlighting areas for improvement and successes.
- Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and minimizing overtime.
- Team Management: Coordinate, assign, and review work, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring adaptability and strong organizational skills.
- Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods, with regular breaks to maintain physical and mental well-being.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of food service operations.
- Client Focus: Demonstrate a strong client focus, prioritizing customer satisfaction and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Reliability: Demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard and deadlines are met.
