About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Ethnic Collections. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Office Procedures: Determine and establish office procedures and routines to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events.
  • Communication: Answer electronic enquiries, greet people, and direct them to contacts or service areas.
  • Information Management: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, and type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
  • Digital Database: Maintain and manage digital databases.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
