Student Transportation Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Student Transportation Professional to join our team at First Student Shared Services. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school while providing excellent customer service.
About the JobSalary: $22.43 per hour (dependent on experience)
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the bus, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections as required.
- Provide assistance to students with disabilities, following all necessary protocols and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, responding to queries and concerns in a professional manner.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid Class 2B license with a minimum of 2 years' driving experience.
- Good verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
- Physical fitness, with the ability to lift children and move wheelchairs as required.
- Patience, caring, and attention to detail, with a strong commitment to student safety.
