Job Summary:

The Monitor/Aide plays a vital role in ensuring the safe operation of our routes. This position is responsible for providing operational oversight, day-to-day management, and assisting drivers in their duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Routinely monitor passenger welfare while on route, addressing any behavior problems or concerns with the driver.
• Assist in pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
• Aid in loading and unloading processes, ensuring student safety and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with school personnel, students, and parents regarding route-related matters.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices.

Requirements and Skills:

• Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
• Attention to detail to identify potential safety risks and issues.
• Judgment and problem-solving skills to address unexpected situations.
• Ability to manage high-stress environments with ease.

Salary Information: The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
