Clinical Supervisor

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Supervisor to join our team at ParaMed Home Health Care. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with legislated standards of practice and company policies.
- Respond to and resolve concerns from staff, patients, and families.
- Provide ongoing leadership through regular meetings and one-on-ones.
- Initiate patient safety incident investigations and document findings.
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team to support clinical documentation and submission requirements.
- Engage patients in problem-solving and provide health teaching and education.
- Maintain knowledge and skills to provide safe and effective service.
Requirements:
- Current RN or RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a practicing Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse.
- Comprehensive patient health assessment skills.
- Proven experience leading and managing a team.
- Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and practice guidelines.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teaching skills.
- Commitment to professional development in clinical practice.
- Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
