About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves providing exceptional patient care and customer service to our clients and their pets. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be organized and efficient, and have a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and pet owners
  • Answer multi-line phone system, track and book appointments effectively
  • Place outbound calls to pet owners for follow-up and future appointment bookings
  • Manage email correspondence with clients, referring veterinarians, and internal office messages
  • Admit and discharge pet patients
  • Invoice and bill clients; create estimates, obtain pet owner confirmation, and process payments
  • Schedule appointments
  • Provide excellent customer service skills and put people at ease
  • Maintain cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas, and common areas
  • Learns about veterinary services, medical office procedures, and assists veterinary staff with tasks and treatments
Requirements
  • Previous customer service or front desk experience in hospitality is an asset
