Job DescriptionAs a Rehabilitation Therapist, you will be responsible for all aspects of physiotherapy treatment and care of patients. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
You will also be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and developing treatment plans that promote independence and improve quality of life;
- Providing direct patient care, including physiotherapy treatments, education, and support;
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes;
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree from an educational program approved by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association;
- Fluency in French and English (candidates who do not meet this language requirement may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement);
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines;
- Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
