Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is seeking a registered Dietitian to join the Community Care Clinic at qathet General Hospital.
Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nutritional care plans for patients in a team-based environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide clinical dietetic services and participate in practice-based research projects.
- Baccalaureate in Dietetics or Nutritional Science from an accredited university.
- Graduate of Dietitians of Canada accredited Dietetic Internship Program, certification as a Diabetes Educator, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
- Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia.
- Broad knowledge of clinical dietetic theory and practice within a patient-centred model of care.
- Broad knowledge of other health care disciplines and their role in patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and families.
