Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Powell River, BC. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $32.84-$41.35 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits, including MSP, extended health, and dental, as well as a municipal pension plan. Job DescriptionAs a Licensed Practical Nurse at VCH, you will be responsible for providing practical nursing functions for clients with predictable outcomes, including assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting client care. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team, under general supervision, to support the Registered Nurse in caring for clients with unpredictable outcomes. You will also maintain and advance your clinical competence pursuant to the standards of practice of the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
