- The purpose of this position is to perform the essential job duties and functions listed below with the overall objective of consistently providing top-quality, non-technical administrative support and to maintain high standards of excellence, while ensuring solid customer relationships.
- Basic Job Duties:
- Plan and direct the work activities of all involved crafts for assigned construction crafts in alignment with available engineering deliverables, tools, construction equipment, and material
- Approve or authorize the coordination of craft personnel, material, and equipment needed to meet schedules.
- The purpose of this position is to implement an effective safety program to meet applicable regulations; Participate with Contracts in managing Conditions of Changes; Assistance will be required in maintaining progress of assigned Area and/or Contractor.
- Directly support project and construction management with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for all construction activities
- Analyze situations, identify, and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action.
- Coordinates with the Engineer Manager and Project Engineering to resolve technical problems encountered during the construction phase; Provides an immediate response.
- Plans, schedules, and coordinates the work with contractors / DFL to insure conformance to construction schedules. Insures conformance to project work rules and regulations.
- Participates in meetings where specific function expertise is required. Coordinates with Contract administrators, Engineers Manager, Headquarters Engineering, and Construction Supervisors regarding quality problems.
- Participates in weekly review meetings to review and discuss work progress, and area plans to resolve problems of schedule delays indicated by trend data.
- Maintain effective relations with clients and the community. Implements company policy of equal opportunity through affirmative action. Craft persons in multiple crafts, the role gains a proficiency to direct other line supervision as necessary in their roles to meet or exceed all project objectives.
- This position requires the ability to coordinate and direct construction craft persons in numerous crafts within the assigned area of responsibility. This position is typically responsible for numerous crafts, multiple areas, and/or large numbers of craft persons, which may include coordination of other contractors/subcontractors.

- Other duties as assigned.

**Basic Job Requirements**
- Typically has eight plus (8+) years of experience with progressive and varied experience in Industrial Construction.
- Strong working knowledge of civil construction codes, standards, principles, and procedures.
- Must have direct and demonstrable working experience on industrial projects.
- Successfully managed electrical activities on projects, fully knowledgeable and experienced in the means, processes and methods needed to successfully construct and install site preparation work.
- Successfully supervised and managed a minimum of hundred (100) craft personnel.
- Successfully supervised and managed the construction activities of multiple civil, concrete, structural, building, painting, scaffolding, and insulation contractors.
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

**Other Job Requirements**
- Typically, direct subordinate Craft Superintendents, and other craft supervision positions such as General Foremen and Foremen; depending on job size and complexity; this position is the first to begin directing construction activities composed of crews involving multiple crafts.
