Job Title: Shift Manager, Food & Beverage Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our Food & Beverage team at River Rock Casino Resort. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and supervise employees to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Assign shift work assignments and monitor cash outs to maintain accuracy
  • Complete shift reports for management and forward discrepancy reports to accounting
  • Direct the day-to-day activities of Food & Beverage employees to meet operational goals
  • Organize and assist with conducting monthly inventory counts and forward inventory reports to management
  • Assist in maximizing revenue and minimizing operating costs
  • Develop and cultivate Great Experiences and Memories with all stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary hospitality or hotel education or suitable combination of education and experience
  • SIR, Smart Serve, or IGB Certificate
  • Food Safe Level 1 & 2 Certificate
  • Computer literacy in MS Office
  • POS experience
  • Minimum 1 year food and beverage team lead experience
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication
  • A commitment to continually increase knowledge of products and services to offer exceptional experiences
  • A willingness to learn, develop, and achieve new skills for personal and professional development

Candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including graveyards, weekends, and holidays. The hours of work will be based on operational and business needs.
