About the Role

Lifemark is seeking a highly skilled Kinesiologist to join our team. As a leading physiotherapy company, we are passionate about enriching the health of Canadians through movement. Our Kinesiologists play a vital role in promoting client healing and improving recovery time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship of a physiotherapist
  • Design, implement, and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning, and work hardening programs
  • Conduct biweekly reassessments of client progress through functional testing
  • Record functional and subjective findings in client charts
  • Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
  • Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients
  • Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress, and discharge
  • Ensure return to work plans with client and employer have been made and documented in the client chart
Requirements
  • Graduate of a university Kinesiology degree program
  • 2+ years of experience considered an asset
  • Registration with the appropriate Provincial governing body for Kinesiologists is required
