About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Insurance Broker to join our team at GGB - Global. As a key member of our global brokerage team, you will be responsible for providing outstanding day-to-day service to clients and handling client file activities to maintain retention targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional client service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Acquire expiry dates at time of policy renewal and identify opportunities to place new business.
  • Attain premium growth targets by cross-selling, up-selling, and acquiring new business.
  • Binds accounts/coverage with insurers and maintains professional relationships with key underwriters.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of commercial lines insurance experience with a focus on mid-market.
  • Experience in manufacturing, construction, E&O, and D&O, large auto fleets, and other lines of commercial insurance.
  • Valid RIBO license or willingness to acquire within 3 months.
  • CIP, FCIP, or CAIB designation or working towards completion is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to and work collaboratively with various individuals.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and experience with Broker Management Systems like EPIC and rating engines is an asset.
