Cash Vault Services Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cash Vault Services Manager to join our team at GardaWorld Cash Services. As a key member of our Cash Services Division, you will be responsible for leading the cash processing team and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and direct the processing activities of the counting room to ensure efficient and accurate processing of cash.
  • Maintain and improve the quality, profitability, and safety of the services offered, adhering to production schedules and budgetary constraints.
  • Provide direction for the execution of sector activities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with team members.
  • Manage expenses according to the budget, both labor and current expenses, to optimize resource allocation.
  • Conduct investigations, as required, in collaboration with internal or external agencies to determine the causes of off-balance and claims.
  • Participate in the hiring plan for new staff and provide ongoing training to meet workforce needs.
  • Participate in the disciplinary or grievance process, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Follow-up on the productivity of the different sub-sectors of the department, implementing action plans to achieve productivity objectives.
  • Participate in all process optimization initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct investigations, when necessary, in cooperation with internal or external agencies to determine causes of transportation accidents and to improve safety procedures.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' of management experience, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Health and Safety management experience, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Cash processing experience is an asset, as is working knowledge of Workers Compensation reporting processes.
  • Driven by offering exceptional customer service, with a sense of urgency, outstanding communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong teamwork and partnership orientation, with the ability to establish great relationships with unionized employees.
