Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counselling services to students in elementary and middle school
  • Develop and implement guidance programs to promote student success and well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student learning and development
  • Conduct assessments and develop plans to support students with diverse needs
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in school counselling and make recommendations for program improvement
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Counselling or a related field
  • BC Certification as a School Counsellor
  • Experience working with elementary and middle school students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
