Project Management Leader Opportunity

Bravo Target Safety is seeking an experienced Project Management Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing a comprehensive range of project management functions.

The successful candidate will supervise a team of project managers who manage the deployment of safety personnel, equipment, and technology solutions to customer job sites. Projects range in size from a single safety watch person with an air trailer or a single medic on a construction site to 150 person deployments for major facility turn-around projects.

This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance are upheld across all company operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion integration of Corporate Purpose, Mission, and Values into decision-making
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and leadership to the project management team
  • Ensure project management planning documents are consistently used throughout the company
  • Work closely with Manager of Project Controls to ensure project margin targets are met
  • Demonstrate exemplary leadership to inspire and guide the organization and its employees
  • Assist with building project scopes, including resources, planning, and execution of projects
  • Research and champion new tools and technology
  • Be present, visible, and engaged in our locations and work sites
  • Directly interface with customers pertaining to work execution, meeting contractual obligations, and building confidence with customers
  • Assess project needs readiness, audit completion of projects, and resolve customer issues
  • Develop and present project close-out reports to customers
  • Attend customer meetings (pre-job, kick-off, progress, close-out, etc.)
  • Uphold company rules, policies, and procedures for quality and safety
  • Travel to Bravo Target facilities and customer sites
  • Deliver effective presentations and facilitate training
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Science, or Engineering (relevant equivalent qualifications will be reviewed and considered)
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience working with Industrial Facility customers; preferably with safety personnel and equipment
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience directing, leading, and coordinating people, equipment, and work processes
  • National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) Designation is an asset
  • Professional certifications such as CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) or equivalent is an asset
  • Demonstrated competency with all HSE concepts and principles
  • Previous leadership roles demonstrating the ability to drive change and enhance safety culture
  • Ability to lead change initiatives and drive process improvements
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all organizational levels
  • Ability to successfully complete a fit for duty and fitness to work assessment
