Role Overview

Pig Improvement Company, a leading organization in the industry, has an exciting opportunity for a FP&A Initiatives Manager to lead and support business leaders in driving value acceleration across numerous key initiatives in the organization. The position is located in a dynamic work environment with hybrid work as an option. The FP&A Initiatives Manager has primary accountability for establishing new processes to drive project tracking and execution, supply & demand alignment, and the overall strategy and execution of business profitability improvement. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be an agent of change, and possess excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend best practices for financial planning and analysis.
  • Solve complex problems; take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions that drive business growth.
  • Work independently and cross-functionally with confidence and influence to drive business outcomes.
  • Leverage expertise and past experience to create solutions and process improvements that enhance business operations.
  • Communicate difficult concepts and negotiate with others to adopt a different point of view and drive business results.
  • Lead the establishment of the Value Acceleration Program profit improvement plan, including:
  • project creation and tracking
  • integration into business operations
  • support the Pig Improvement Company project management office (PMO)
  • Improve supply and demand planning processes and product allocation within the Pig Improvement Company sales and production planning (S&OP) function
  • Support core financial cycles, including close, reporting, analysis, and short/medium/long-term planning
  • Develop standard tools, processes, and reporting for consistency and better decision-making
  • Assist senior business leaders, including the Pig Improvement Company COO and CFO, as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (MBA and/or CPA preferred)
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience
  • Prior FP&A Experience
  • Experience leading through change and establishment of new business processes
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other similar ERP systems, and other business intelligence/analytical tools
  • Ability to travel occasionally; both domestic and international
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
