The Shaw Festival Theatre is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Box Office Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our patrons, processing ticket orders, and assisting with daily box office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional, friendly, and informative service to patrons via phone, in-person, and mail.
- Process ticket orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring a hassle-free experience for our customers.
- Assist fellow employees and patrons with any questions or concerns, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Participate in sales activities, including add-on and incentive programs, to meet ticketing, ancillary, and Membership goals.
- Assist patrons to ensure a win-win situation, providing solutions to their needs and concerns.
- Assist with outbound sales, marketing, and informational calls to patrons, promoting our shows and services.
- Contribute to the daily operations of the box office, performing additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must be reliable, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work and problem-solve independently, and work within our departmental values of communication, respect, adaptability, and unity.
