Job Summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a highly skilled Passenger Service Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering new hire and annual recurrent training for all station personnel.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all station personnel have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with airline customers to ensure that all training materials are up-to-date and meet regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with corporate training teams to ensure that training programs are aligned with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support employees and supervisors in undertaking the protective and preventative measures necessary to achieve compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Participate in safety audits and provide corrective action assistance to management.
  • Complete passenger service audits and other reports as requested.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Passenger service operations, aviation security, safety practices, legislation and customer supplier relationships.
  • Ability to lead, coach and develop staff.
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record.
  • Ability to read, write and speak fluent English and Spanish beneficial.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., comfortable with bending, kneeling and pushing and pulling file boxes.
