About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cement Finishing Foreman/Woman to join our team at BuildCo Contracting Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cement finishing process and ensuring high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of cement finishing crew members
  • Prepare and review production reports to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and knowledge
  • Requisition and order materials and equipment as needed
  • Participate in government or community programs to support newcomers and refugees
  • Support youth employment initiatives and provide on-the-job training
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in cement finishing or a related field
  • Ability to work outdoors in a noisy and at-heights environment
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Reliability and team player attitude
