Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Support Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our web-based applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 2 production support for our web applications, including troubleshooting and resolving reported incidents and compliance issues.
  • Contribute to and participate in walkthrough reviews of all technical specifications and programs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business and technology partners to help achieve operational efficiencies and business goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with the development teams by identifying defects and opportunities for efficiencies through automation and enhancements.
  • Leverage automation, monitoring, and alerting tools to identify and resolve troublesome trends and problems.
  • Work with big data, analyze data, build statistics, and metrics.
  • Facilitate small to large group meetings for problem-solving, decision-making, and task implementation. Resolve conflicts/issues and escalate as appropriate.
  • Provide direction, expertise, feedback, coaching, and development to build the capabilities of more junior staff.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in production support role, supporting multiple web applications.
  • 5+ years of experience in Linux platform, shell, Python, SQL, JSON.
  • Working knowledge of IT Standards, Methodologies, SDLC, & audit requirements.
  • Experience of on-call after-hours support.
  • Computer Science degree or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Oracle and MS SQL.
  • Knowledge of Dynatrace, Splunk.
  • Experience in building queries using JSON for No-SQL databases (Elasticsearch, MongoDB).
