Senior Production Support Analyst

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Support Analyst to join our team in Toronto, ON. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our Energy Business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Energy Business applications and work with ETRM systems (Energy Trading Risk Management)
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth application deployment and test environment maintenance
  • Utilize database and SQL skills to resolve issues and improve system performance
  • Work with Linux and Solaris operating systems to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience as a Production Support Analyst or related field
  • Experience working with all phases of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
  • Proficiency in Linux and Solaris operating systems, as well as SQL and Oracle
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Commerce, or related field

Preferred Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience with commodities within Capital Markets
  • FI or Banking experience is an asset
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Splunk
  • DevOps tools like Jenkins, Prometheus, and Grafana
