Key Responsibilities- Plan, develop, and implement human resources policies and programs to support the organization's goals and objectives.
- Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
- Mediate labour disputes and grievances in a fair and impartial manner.
- Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs to promote a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to support employee development and growth.
- Research employee benefits and health and safety practices to recommend changes that promote a safe and healthy work environment.
- Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure the effective delivery of human resources services.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Judgement and decision-making skills.
- Organized and efficient interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and values and ethics.
The Human Resources Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
Language and Work ConditionsThe language of work is English, and the work conditions include a 40-hour workweek.
