Human Resources Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Sr. Coordinator, Human Resources will play a key role in supporting the Business Enablement & Enterprise Procurement Team by coordinating and implementing various Human Resources activities and projects. This includes Company-wide Human Resources programs/initiatives, employee relations issues, recruitment & selection strategy, performance management, job evaluations, terminations, training & development, and benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance, direction, and support to client groups on HR-related issues and concerns.
- Oversee the recruitment process, including assisting hiring managers with opening requisitions, liaising with corporate talent acquisitions specialists, making salary recommendations to the business, and facilitating the offer process.
- Conduct research and provide answers to HR-related inquiries.
- Compile data for compensation recommendations and partner with the compensation group to manage the administration of the client's annual incentive and merit review process.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and provincial requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings.
- Contribute to continuous improvements & best practices to influence human resources strategies.
- Resolve necessary payroll inquiries and inquiries relating to benefits, ServiceNow, Workday, onboarding, etc.
- Assist the Sr. Director and Sr. HRBP with research, analysis, and implementation of programs, reports, and projects as required.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education preferably in Human Resources and obtained (or working towards) Human Resources Certification (CHRP or CHRL).
- 3 – 5 years of progressive HR experience, coordinating departmental programs and initiatives is a definite asset.
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Strong integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality and manage susceptible information.
- Solid computer skills required in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-focused and able to nurture positive customer relationships.
- Highly organized and has a high degree of attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and superior ability to problem-solve.
- Exceptional commitment to customer service with a strong sense of urgency and ability to respond promptly.
- Highly motivated, self-starter, requiring little direction.
