Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Truck Mechanic to join our team in performing routine maintenance and repair work on heavy trucks.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required
- Ordering parts and maintaining inventory
- Adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance reports and documentation
- Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance work
- Repairing heavy trucks and performing routine maintenance tasks
- Providing excellent service to customers and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy loads
Work Environment:
This role requires working in a dusty, hot, and noisy environment. You must be able to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
