Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nephrology Clinical Leader Development to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. This role will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing educational activities to foster the development of competence in learners.

About the Role
  • Acting as a resource to preceptors for ongoing preceptor development;
  • Providing clinical expertise within the care team related to patient care, continuing education, development, and review of policies, objectives, and guidelines;
  • Supporting unit-based strategic plans and initiatives.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's Degree is considered an asset.

Experience: Demonstrated ability to perform Peritoneal Dialysis, Hemodialysis, and Apheresis required.

Certifications: Nephrology certification or enrollment in the certification process is an asset.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday – 30 hours bi-weekly.

Compensation Package

Salary: $42.0593/hour.
