We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Clinical Service Desk Specialist to join our team at NTT DATA Services in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As a member of our Provider Clinical Service Desk, you will be responsible for handling inbound customer calls regarding clinical aspects of various applications.
With a focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes, we strive to create efficiencies across the healthcare ecosystem. Our clients include over 1,800 hospitals, 2,200 long-term care facilities, and 43,000 clinicians, among others.
This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, effective communication, and the ability to work optimally in a fast-paced environment. You will be working with clinical applications such as Epic, Cerner, McKesson, and Meditech, responding to incidents, tracking comments, and escalating issues when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of service desk/helpdesk experience or equivalent combination of education and technical troubleshooting experience. High school diploma or equivalent is required, with preferred qualifications including 1 year of technical troubleshooting experience.
A key aspect of this role is shift flexibility, requiring night, weekend, and/or holiday work. Schedule changes may occur based on client and business requirements or training needs, and overtime may be required.
