About the Role

MILESTONE services LTD is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Manager to oversee the transportation and storage of goods. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, establishing policies and standards, and overseeing the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Compliance: Ensure that all transportation operations are in compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Policies and Standards: Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring that they are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring that they are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Revenue Management: Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue, ensuring that it is aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Operations Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring that they are efficient and effective.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Trucking company or similar industry.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
