About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Manager to join our team at Robust Transport Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing finances or budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all transportation operations comply with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Financial Management: Manage finances or budget to ensure that transportation operations are cost-effective and profitable.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that goods are properly stored and tracked.
  • Record Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that transportation operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in transportation operations or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
