About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Manager to join our team at Robust Transport Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our transportation department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of transportation operations, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Shipping and Logistics: Arrange for shipping documentation and track the movement of goods in transit to ensure timely delivery.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all transportation operations comply with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Vehicle Scheduling: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods to optimize routes and reduce costs.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that goods are available when needed.
  • Cargo Management: Record and track cargo information, including hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
