As the General Manager at Sienna Senior Living, you will be the cornerstone of our purpose: to cultivate happiness in daily life. This pivotal role requires balancing the demands of nurturing relationships with seniors, their families, and external community stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Build a high-performing management team and develop short and long-term operational plans for efficient operation.
- Provide support and direction to the team to achieve targeted occupancy, Net Operating Income, and Operating Margin.
- Ensure site-level compliance with all applicable provincial regulations.
- Partner with the Director of Wellness and Sales Advisor to create and execute a strong outreach strategy to increase/maintain occupancy.
- Foster positive community partnerships with health and service providers, business leaders, civic officials, and other community agencies to promote the home as an integral part of the community.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in retirement living, hospitality, or a similar sector.
- Proven track record of effective team management, budget management, and operational excellence.
- Experience in sales and marketing to drive occupancy and engage the community.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with seniors, their families, team members, and external stakeholders.
