Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Policy Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our policy development department, you will be responsible for evaluating existing policies, identifying areas for improvement, and developing new policies to meet emerging data and privacy requirements. Your duties will include reviewing policies, consulting with internal and external stakeholders, and drafting updates and revisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating existing policies to ensure they align with organizational goals and objectives
  • Consulting with stakeholders to gather input and feedback on policy proposals
  • Drafting new policies and revising existing ones to meet changing regulatory requirements
  • Providing direction and advice to senior leadership on policy matters
  • Maintaining the Corporate Policy Database and ensuring all policies have predetermined review and renewal cycles

Requirements:

  • A master's degree in a related field (e.g., public policy, law, business administration)
  • 3-4 years of experience in analyzing policies and developing policy recommendations
  • Exceptional analytical and research skills, with the ability to identify policy oversights and omissions
  • Strong knowledge of Compliance with Quebec Law 25 and other relevant regulations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
