Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Store Manager to join our team at Lethbridge Dairy Mart Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train a team of retail salespersons and sales clerks, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth, manage inventory levels, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Financial Management: Manage store finances, including cash handling, inventory control, and budgeting.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
