Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grocery Department Manager to lead our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience by coordinating the activities of our associates to complete assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers with product inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  2. Task Delegation: Delegate, assist, and follow up on the completion of tasks such as Customer Availability Process, price changes, feature sets, and modular completion in assigned areas.
  3. Team Leadership: Lead and support a team of associates to ensure a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment, and provide training, coaching, and feedback to enhance their skills and performance.
  4. Store Operations: Ensure that all store operations are running smoothly, including recovery and zoning activities, and that associates are taking breaks in accordance with coverage.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to train and develop a team of associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
