About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Canada West Equipment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our grounds and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Lead and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members to ensure the efficient completion of tasks and projects.
  • Grounds Maintenance
    • Develop and implement plans for the maintenance and upkeep of our grounds, including landscaping, horticulture, and equipment maintenance.
  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment, including scheduling and coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed.
  • Logistics and Administration
    • Manage and maintain accurate records and logs of equipment maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
    • Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repairs with vendors and contractors.
  • Accessibility and Inclusion
    • Develop and implement plans to ensure physical, visual, and auditory accessibility for employees and visitors with disabilities.
  • Support for Diverse Groups
    • Develop and implement programs to support the employment and integration of newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and mature workers.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
