At Terrestar Solutions Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Director to lead our cybersecurity strategy, architecture, and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing cybersecurity policies and standards, aligning them with risk management and compliance objectives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective policy communication and enforcement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • Align policies and controls with risk management and compliance objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective policy communication and enforcement.
  • Lead cybersecurity governance and audits.
  • Lead the architecture of cybersecurity solutions that leverage state-of-the-art techniques and technologies.
  • Perform threat modeling against vulnerability assessments and implement cybersecurity risk mitigation measures.

Cybersecurity Operations & Incident Response:

  • Oversee cybersecurity operations, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
  • Ensure rapid response processes are in place and post-incident analysis is conducted for continuous improvement.
  • Implement continuous monitoring and SIEM solutions.

Compliance with CMMC & NIST Standards:

  • Lead compliance efforts with select cybersecurity benchmarks such as CMMC, NIST 800-171.
  • Develop and execute a certification roadmap.
  • Conduct internal assessments and audits.
  • Serve as contact for external assessors.
  • Lead a cybersecurity function composed of external resources and partners.
  • Develop a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy and secure buy-in from executive leadership.
  • Represent organization in industry forums.
  • Manage cybersecurity budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field; Master's and/or certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred.
  • 8+ years in cybersecurity (policy development, architecture, operations, compliance).
  • Experience with government contracts or defense industry compliance would be an asset.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English and French).
  • Hands-on with security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, encryption).
