Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • Align policies and controls with risk management and compliance objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for policy communication and enforcement.
  • Lead cybersecurity governance and audits.
  • Design and implement cybersecurity solutions that leverage state-of-the-art techniques and technologies.
  • Perform threat modeling against vulnerability assessments and implement risk mitigation measures.
  • Oversee cybersecurity operations, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
  • Ensure rapid response processes are in place and conduct post-incident analysis for continuous improvement.
  • Implement continuous monitoring and SIEM solutions.
  • Lead compliance efforts with select cybersecurity benchmarks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity (policy development, architecture, operations, compliance).
  • Experience with government contracts or defense industry compliance is an asset.
  • Bilingual (English and French).
  • Ability to mitigate organizational and IT security risks.
  • Team management and development skills.
  • Rigor and planning skills.
