Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.


Job Description

This role involves managing and prioritizing projects or programs of moderate to large size, scope, and duration. You will coordinate project work with other engineers, technicians, designers, and/or drafters.

You will also lead process failure discussions, audits, and investigations to ensure consistency of solutions across all facilities. Additionally, you will perform feasibility studies for fabrication, assembly, machining, or processing.

As an Industrial Operations Specialist, you will assist technicians with assembly and disassembly of process equipment and components to diagnose issues. You will also troubleshoot, analyze, identify, evaluate, propose, implement, and document engineering solutions.

You will develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment processes. You will collaborate with production personnel and other departments to gather information and draft reports, and improve equipment, processes, and products.

You will create test parameters and participate in the testing, data analysis, and implementation of processes, equipment, and engineering solutions. You will identify broad conceptual ideas and develop them into useful solutions.

You will establish continuous improvement plans where efficiency, quality, safety, or service can be improved.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have strong communication skills in both English and French, both oral and written. You must be able to communicate effectively with various audiences, including management, colleagues, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.

You must be able to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner. You must have sound decision-making ability in a busy and changing work environment.

You must possess good interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, negotiation, and leadership. You must demonstrate an established commitment to health, safety, and environmental concerns.

A minimum of food manufacturing experience is required for this role.
