Electrical & Controls Superintendent Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical & Controls Superintendent to join our team at Claridge Homes Inc.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to tenants by responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring timely repairs.
  • Show available units to prospective tenants and facilitate the rental process.
  • Prepare units for new occupants, including thorough cleaning and any necessary repairs.
  • Perform emergency repairs to equipment, structures, and grounds on the property.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with various systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Monitor and maintain logs for critical systems such as generators, boilers, and cooling towers.
  • Conduct regular fire safety inspections, maintain minor components of the system, and keep accurate records.
  • Inspect properties regularly to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Maintain an inventory of equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure common areas remain clean and well-maintained at all times.

Requirements:
  • Possess post-secondary education in a related field, preferably electrical or plumbing.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance or superintendent role, with a proven track record of resolving complex problems.
  • A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are essential.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset but not required.

Compensation:

$65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
