Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Tech Records Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of aircraft maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all Airworthiness Directives and Alert Service Bulletins are actioned as directed by the Director of Maintenance.
  • Keep the Aircraft Maintenance System (AMS) up to date on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Generate month-end and year-end reports in a timely manner.
  • Perform assignments with instructions but exercise independent judgment to maintain company standards.
  • Ensure that all publications and publication revisions are sent out as required in a timely manner.
  • Professionally perform all duties with a level of interpersonal skills appropriate to the position.
  • Update all aircraft technical records within the 30-day requirement.
  • Keep current with Transport Canada requirements.
  • Participate in the development, planning, and implementation of technical record keeping.
  • Generate tracking/status reports for employees as required.
  • Provide technical research service for the maintenance department and others.
  • Ensure that all Component History Records (CHR) are accurate and reflect what is recorded on the AMS.
  • Conduct QC review of all journey logbooks and bring forward all non-compliance.

Requirements:

  • On-the-job training is provided.
  • Previous experience in aviation or working with records/regulations is an asset.
  • Have thorough knowledge of the Aircraft Maintenance System (AMS).
  • Previous experience in a data entry/administrative environment.
  • You must have excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of basic computer programs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to take direction verbally.
  • Accurate typing and data entry skills. Understanding of grammar.
  • Good handwriting and mathematical skills.
