Job Profile: Uniformed Asset Protection Personnel (Customer Service)

Reports to: Kristy Phelan

Loblaw, a leading Canadian retailer, is seeking a Uniformed Asset Protection Personnel (UAPP) to provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external customers. As a key member of our store team, you will welcome customers, respond to Asset Protection initiatives, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe and enjoyable shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to all internal and external customers.
  • Respond to Gatekeeper alarms and receipt checks as required.
  • Assess safety hazards and take proper procedures to ensure customer safety.
  • Escalate crisis or emergency situations in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and submit daily, weekly, and monthly status reports.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a retail environment is preferred.
  • Ability to foster partnerships with store teams.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a talent for building relationships.
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to remain calm in high-tension situations.
  • Ability to walk or stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
