Join Loblaw Companies Limited as an Asset Protection Representative

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Asset Protection team in Ottawa, Ontario. As an Asset Protection Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deter, detect, and apprehend theft and fraud within our retail locations
  • Collaborate with other Asset Protection Representatives to investigate provincial or national ORC cases
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies
  • Investigate internal investigations, compile evidence, and present findings for court or arbitration
  • Identify potential shrink opportunities within our operational core compliance
  • Build and maintain store partnerships through management meetings and coaching colleagues on Asset Protection policies and procedures
  • Participate in conducting store-level audits
  • Participate in community events

Requirements:

  • Valid Provincial Security Guard License required
  • Basic understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act, and Powers of Arrest
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor
  • High degree of initiative and integrity required to succeed in a dynamic environment
